Lead successfully in your own way
A space for women to build genuine relationships, recognise their strengths, challenge and support one another, create opportunities and become stronger leaders without becoming someone they are not.
Women should leave better than they arrived
Axiom Women is not another place where women simply sit in a room telling each other how brilliant we are.
It is a place to learn from one another, challenge one another, create opportunities for one another and hold one another accountable. A place to recognise our strengths without believing that leadership requires us to become something we are not.
Sometimes seeing one woman lead successfully in her own way is enough to change what another woman believes is possible.
Genuine relationships. Honest challenge. Doors opened.
Support should build confidence, capability and opportunity. It should help women see themselves clearly, strengthen what is already there and move forward with greater purpose.

Experience changes when we share it
I have spent most of my career in a male-dominated industry. I built a career with children in tow, left construction because I could not imagine doing it all again with twins, coached women through some of the most difficult periods of their lives and then returned to construction.
When I met a female leader who led successfully in her own way, it changed my understanding of what leadership could look like. I know first-hand what seeing just one woman do that can make possible.
