What Axiom One means
An axiom is a fundamental truth. A reliable starting point.
Change is the one certainty every business faces. But change does not have to mean a complete overhaul. It may be a pivot, a step sideways or simply a better way of arranging what is already there.
Axiom One is not about turning a business upside down. It is about aligning the business with what it has become, who its owner has become and where it needs to go, while keeping its original ethos at the centre.
That means looking carefully at the foundations surrounding that ethos. Strengthening them so the business is more sustainable, has greater longevity and is better prepared for its future, whether it remains in the current owner’s hands or eventually passes into someone else’s.

Axiom One exists to help business owners understand their business as a whole. To give them the clarity to make informed decisions and build firmer foundations for improvement, growth, longevity or succession.

My role is not to take control of your business or tell you how to run it. I am an independent sounding board, guide and advisor.
I show you the truth of what I find, challenge thinking where needed and put forward practical proposals. I give you the clarity and support to make informed decisions, but those decisions remain yours.

Seven years in the making
Axiom One began with a simple purpose: to help people create stronger foundations.
The path has not been a straight one. It brought me back to construction and led to the creation of H Squared. But every client, conversation, relationship and new experience widened my perspective.
As I grew as an individual and as a business owner, the business grew with me. Axiom One is where more than 20 years of industry experience, seven years of business building and a belief in genuine alignment come together.
It is the business I have been working towards all along.
